We have a lot of work to do before the 2022 elections! Part of that work is ensuring we can get our message about building a multi-racial representative democracy out to our fellow Democrats and progressives. To that end, we’ve set some big goals for ourselves!

2021 – 2022 Goals

• Register 2,000 new voters.
• Grow committee membership to 150.
• Raise 20,000 for our community & candidates.
• Field 10 new candidates across Craighead County.
• Grow online communities to 5,000 followers.

How You Can Help

• Voter registration for 2022 and beyond happens now. You don’t have to be specially trained to check your voter registration each month to make sure it’s still active or accurate or to register your friends and family to vote. Forms are available online to print and at your county clerk’s office.
• You can join us and get involved with our work! We have several membership options.
• Our current system is heavily weighted toward people with massive amount of money, and our opponents are often funded by the types of wealthy individuals and corporations interested in maintaining the status quo. While we’re operating in this system, we do our best to support our friends and allies in Craighead County as well as build a financial base for our candidates. You can help by becoming a recurring donor, and your money will stay within your community to help our outreach work.
• We’re always looking for candidates, whether it’s for 2022, 2024, or beyond. Let us know you’re ready to run for something.
• Our social media is the main way we communicate with folks since we only meet formally once a month. You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. It really helps us when you do, so we can stay connected to each other.
