Welcome to the Party!

We’re excited that you’re interested in joining the Democratic Party of Craighead County (but you can call us the Craighead Dems, or DPCC for short)! If you want to be part of a political party that cares about people and. you believe in the American values of freedom, equality, and democracy, then there’s a place for you in our party. We meet monthly on the fourth Tuesday at 5:30pm, except for November and December, to account for holidays. Holiday meeting times will be announced in advance.

Membership Donations

No dues or membership fees are required to be a part of the Democratic Party of Craighead County.

Democrats are the party of regular people, not big money like the Republicans. As such, our county party runs off the voluntary support of our members. Those contributions-particularly recurring ones-are the back bone of our operations. For that reason we ask for an optional donation at several levels when joining; these donations help support our work in Craighead County, Northeast Arkansas, and sometimes even state-wide. On the form, please choose the option that’s best for you, but please remember that it is optional. You can join for free!

Membership allows you to vote on party issues, serve as a leader on subcommittees, run for the executive committee, and run for state committee to represent Craighead County at the state level.
